Driveshaft

Got a question. Need to know how to balance the driveshaft after u replace the u- joints. Forgot to mark it

Are you referring to marking the flanges closest to the rear axle before separating? Could rotate around to see if the dirt kinda matches in an area? If you really can't tell, take your best guess and sleep well because it really isn't a big issue.

Hope that helped?
Thanks. Haha

Yeah I know that's why I did. U don't have to be a smartass though. I take my truck serious.
I was being serious about thanking you for letting us know. Most people would have just never said anything and left us hanging until one of us said hey @Bin72 did you ever figure out your shaft?
You may or may not have replied at that point and we would have all been concerned about you.
But yes I am a smartass.

Ok dude. I'm sorry I took it wrong. Thanks for the concern. And don't worry about being a smartass I'm the whole ass sometimes.

I had to play with it for a little while but I finally got it to line up. Now she drives better than before.

She’s all greased up and ready to go. :D

So what were you asking? We still don't know... haha

I was concerned enough to ponder on it a while and I gaurantee @OR17TRD was too. We all have elevated gluteus maximus IQ's around here... [emoji13]

I just skimmed through this thread but what I got from it was: @Bin72 had questions about his shaft and where to put it. @OR17TRD greased up the shaft and it’s ready to go. And @Crawdad is talking about his gluteus maximus.
This sounds like you guys may need to take this to a private message. This is a family site.
