Do any of y'all notice a decrease in radio reception when you plug a cell phone in to your console to charge? Maybe it's just because of where I live nearly all my radio stations turn to static when I plug my phone in to charge. For those with the wireless charge pad, do you have the same ussue?

I haven’t noticed it.

Never had the problem in my 2006 GMC from day one till it was sold 12 years later and no problems in my 2018 Tacoma. Try another charge cable and see if the trouble goes away.

If you can play your phone through the radio with the usb, that may be because the power is actually coming from the radio.

The radio reception in my 2013 just plain sucks... Cell phone or no cell phone. FM reception in my 2001 Tacoma was fine. Must be Toyota made some "improvements" for the Gen 2.
