Steering wheel shakes above 60 mph

Purchased a CPO 2015 tacoma TRD sport this past July. The day after I bought it I left to go over seas ,got back the 3 rd of November. And stared driving it and noticed the steering would shake at speeds above 60 mph. Took it to the dealers they balanced and rotated the tires twice ,did a road force balance. They said the front rotors are warped so I changed the rotors and brakes and I still feel the steering wheel shake above 60. Please help.

Since it sat so long, could it be a tire bubble/bulge? Not always obvious unless they are looking for it while balancing. They just throw weights on it but the problem is still there.

Swap front tires to the rear and see if that helps. I’m like Texas red sounds like a small flat spot or bulge. Are the tires newer tires. They put sub par tires on new and used trucks to cut cost. Something to look at before you spend money on stuff you don’t need or want

I bought a new 1982 Toyota SR-5 in 1982. It was at the dealer for some warranty work for about five weeks. When I got it back I had a shake that was not there before. Dealer balanced tires and so on to no avail. I finally had to get Toyota involved and they finally told the dealer to take wheels and tires off of new unit on lot and install them on mine. Problem solved. Sitting had made the tires out of round and it would not come back out.

Check the tires for bulges.

All ready had them rotated.

Should I look for the bulges on the side walls .

Look for any abnormalities on the tires. Even check the tire brand for recalls.
If the alignment is good and all steering components are in good shape than it narrows it down to the tires more than likely.

I keep thinking tires too. I have a appointment on Thursday at the dealer see what they say.this will be the third time at the dealer. Also the steering wheel shaking happens above 60 and will come and go.

I had a 2009 Tacoma that I put new Cooper Discoverer AT3’s on. I live about a mile from the tire shop so I didn’t notice anything odd on the drive home since I didn’t get above 25mph.
The next morning about 6:00AM I hit the interstate to drive 50+ miles to work and it felt like the truck was gonna shake apart.
The idiots didn’t balance the tires. No weight. I felt like I had Parkinson’s by the time I got to work. Needless to say it wasn’t a very pleasant situation at the tire shop that evening when I got back.
Lesson learned. Always test drive at highway speed to check the balance and drive after getting new tires.

Sounds like someone fell behind in their job and threw some tires on.
I feel like Discount tires (DT) does a good job. I’ve been there a few times over the years. I’d recommend them.
I just bought a set of Nitto TG didn’t like them and took them back. They made it right without question. I’ll continue to buy from them.

We don’t have a whole lot of choices in southern WV. Just a couple local places.
