BakFlip Tonneau Cover.

I wanna give a shout out to realtruck.com for installing a brand new Tonneau at absolutely no cost to myself.

Owning a Taco has been a dream for the last two years, I saved up every penny for the last 17 months and made a 2016 TRD OR. Unfortunately within days of sinking my savings into my dream truck my mom was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma that's already metastasized to her brain. I've been missing work left and right and unable to save any money for upgrades much less repairs. The Tonneau cover my truck came with was poorly installed and already falling apart and I deliver food comercially and need a covered bed... So this was a big issue from day one.

A friend of mine who's a videographer at one of realtrucks brick and morter stores needed a last minute replacement truck for a Tonneau replacement installation video they were filming for their website, remembered my situation, talked to his bosses and I got a call that I would be getting a brand new Tonneau cover if I was down with losing my truck for a day.

I can't express how thankful I am. This is a life saver. As crappy as life can seem sometimes... Theirs always gonna be silver linings. 1542376589484.jpeg

Wonderful that you were able to spend some of that precious time with your mother. That is something we can all relate to in one form or another.
The friend who remembered you is a friend indeed as are the folks at realtrucks.
A wonderful story of heartache and reaffirmation of humanity.
Thank you and blessings.

A bed mat helps keep the little water that makes it in off things.
That's exactly what my buddie said. I maybe down the road. I just spent a grand I'd been saving for new tires and an alignment... But boy them Bfgoodrich k02's look sweet on her.

How? Doesn’t it just puddle up on the bed mat?

Got a 5’ tall unwrapped box Christmas present in the garage with my name on it. Genuine Toyota Parts. Just guessing what it is... [emoji6][emoji895]
Folding Tonneau covers leak on the outsides and the water runs down the sides of the bed and under the bed mat missing things that are on top of the mat. Without the mat the water runs onto the stuff. Mine have never leaked enough to bother me and nothing has got wet but I’ve always had a bed mat paired with my Bakflips

Just like that. Water from a tonneau cover will roll under.
Even without a tonneau you still get the bulk of the water rolling under the mat and out of the bed so it’ll help some.

I’ve got the factory fold back and I’m adding weatherstripping to the top seams. It leaks from there, not the sides.
But a bed mat will stil be a good addition. (Thanks Santa!)

Oh wow, that's genius. Now I really need a bed mat.
