I don’t think 17% is that bad. Mine are 20% and I can see fine. I’ve had 5% I like the look but hate the visibility. I like 20% seems like a good middle ground. 30-35% seems to light 5-10% to dark. IMO

Just curious, i have 30 on the fronts and its decent, my buddy owned a shop and ive seen ppl come back (one was a tacoma) after they got too dark of film installed up front despite his warning.
I think my 30 has faded out to 40ish now as its not as dark looking from outside. Rears are 20 on top of factory sr5 privacy glass and its a bit of a bear to see out of at night.

I didn’t go over the top of the factory in back on the taco or the tundra for that reason. My night vision isn’t what it once was. It makes them about 7.358516%
