Hi, I'm on my 4th Tacoma going back to 93 (not an official Tacoma), need some advice from you 3rd gen owners, I have currently own a 2015 TRD Off Road with 41K and am thinking of trading it in on a new 3rd gen of the same, any advice and insight would be great. thanks!

From a previous 3rd gen to now a 2nd gen owner... my advice, don’t do it. Lol the 3rd gens are nice, but I think the 2nd gens are a lot peppier and have less gear searching than the 3rds. You really can’t go wrong with either though. A Taco is a Taco!

I traded in my 2nd Gen for a 3rd Gen and got a great deal on my trade. All depends what you want to do. At this point, you’re probably without a truck payment and 41k on a Toyota is really low miles. If the 3rd Gen has something to offer that you don’t have on your current one, than maybe consider it. The 2nd Gen are more peppy 4.0 vs 3.5. If you have a couple extra bucks, maybe purchase some new toys for your current taco and enjoy it for many years to come.
