KBVOODOO bed rack

Hey all,

Long time no post. Lately been busy with some mods but mainly for camping. Got rhinorack crossbars mounted to my bed currently but they leave something to be desired and I don't trust them with more than two people in my RTT. But here's some pictures.



So I finally pulled the trigger on the Taco Max Modular Bedrack from KBVoodoo. The added benefit is I can get the tent higher to use the annex room! The bedrack comes today. Hope to install by the weekend.

Well got it up tonight. I'll get more pictures up when I take my camping trip I'm a few weeks. I don't have the middle bars up yet but will get them up tomorrow.

I may end up backing the rack off the cab a bit but not sure yet.

Sorry I've been super busy and haven't been checking the forum. It's the husky ultrafiber rug and it's really good. Keeps everything from sliding around. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a mat.

Thanks for sharing. I'm in the process of setting up a similar config. Went with the Voodoo / Max Modular 10" in aluminum for shortbox with bakflip tonneau brackets. Still trying to decide on Tent.

Looks great! I actually went down to the 10” as well. MPG took a huge hit with the tent on. Much better now.

Thanks! I’ve actually have a few things in the works now. I’ve swapped out the 18” rack for the 10” and I’ve got a victory 4x4 rack on order. Lift is scheduled for the fall! Hope to get some pics of the new rack in action next month. Planning a social distancing camping trip [emoji6]

Are fuelpax cheaper than Rotopax?

Yes but they are definitely different. I think there’s a break down on the rotopax website on the differences.

I have some rotopax stuff, but damn it is pricey. For my new bikes if fuelpax are cheaper I would be interested.

Yeah that’s why the fuelpax were a better sell for me. I had to mount them external because space is at a premium for me when I go dispersed camping. Gotta be self dependent aka you gotta bring all your **** [emoji23]. I’m to the point where I’m downsizing what gear I can so I can free up cab room. Thankfully adding the victory 4x4 roof rack has opened up a lot of space for my cases. And I can still bring the kayak on top if I need to!

I feel the same way... was running out of storage space so went with a kayak hauler with 2 tool boxes mounted. Problem solved!
