Tacoma World vs Tacoma Forum

They're slow if want them to be slow. Mine will keep up with all the average vehicles out there if I tell it to.
Lately I've noticed the speeding on the interstates has really gotten out of hand. You can do 80 mph in a crowd with roads posted at 65...pass a cop, and they don't even blink. Its the guys going 90 plus changing lanes, and passing vehicles like competing in a nascar short track race, they may pull over.

Or wreck I was doing 90 this morning and a Camaro passed me with no one around now I check my mirrors every 8 seconds. Habitual for me. I never saw him coming so he was really moving.

Was on Rt 9 the other day to old saybrook from middletown. Averaged 85 mph all the way, and still got passed by more vehicles than I have fingers, and toes. I think I saw only one vehicle that got pulled over that passed me...an old matte black lowered astro van totally blacked out I suspect with a v8 in it....no v6 astro van could accelerate that fast between cars going 90 mph, while changing lanes that quick at the speeds that thing was going.

Was he flashing his high beams?

Nope when he blew by me that’s the first I seen of him. Admittedly I was cruising the left lane alone but in my defense I was doing ninety and didn’t want to be bothered by the entrance ramp traffic had there been any.

You damnned smallAZZ states!

It's 300 miles across Iowa and over 200 up and down Iowa
At least Illinois is sorta skinny across but still almost 200 miles to Indiana

it should be customary here in USA, as it is in Germany, to flash your lights to those ahead if you are driving well over 100mph

100 miles across and 60 north to south. And we’re jammed in like sardines. Rarely is there a day you can just go to where your going without dealing with an idiot

Glad I've been retired. I couldn't put long with this bs driving that goes on during the work week everyday. These people think its a nascar restricter plate race every time going, and coming from work. It's obvious fuel prices mean nothing to them.

I 84 was closed for five hours yesterday. My commute(s). Are 35 and 20 minutes. Not bad. I get 7 miles of it paid on top of clock time plus my lunch time is paid as well. So I try not to push it. Yesterday was an anomaly. Normally I just go with the flow five to ten over.

That section from Farmington to Hartford is demolition ally. Seemed every time I went through there, a fender bender or good crash would happen that day. Even the road work around waterbury on I84 is a crash just waiting to happen.

This was exit 30. Not sure if they changed the numbers to mileage on that highway yet. Even if they did it was close to southington I would imagine

I heard something about it on the news that a car rolled over around there. Pretty common to see rollovers just on the local city streets. I swear some people drive with the heel to the steel till they crash.

Yup. I got aggravated 50 mph zone. Frigging 45 and slow in the left lane ( Berlin turnpike)
They slowed for the yellow , not me , I passed them using the left turn lane. Never fails. Freaking entitled morons.

I just finished a 2 day run to St Louis and back....about 800+ miles round trip.

Nearly rear-ended a genius at 70 mph in a destruction zone who stomped on the brakes to yield to a Honda civic coming down an on-ramp...... Yes, we were on the interstate in the destruction zone. Damn glad I wasn't fiddlin' with the tunes, road snacks or phone.

Last time I took the Driver's test.....the on-ramp traffic had to yield the right of way to the traffic on the interstate.
