Putco LED headlights

Hey guys, been lurking since I bought my 14 eclb back in July, but I'm looking for some input on LED headlights.

I recently went to a parts store and they recommend that I go with the putco silverstar LED kit, but with a $200 pricetag I'm a little hesitant. Does anyone have some input on these or any kits?

Any input is appreciated.[emoji1]

on a projector or reflector based housing?

Reflecotor. Thought about putting projectors in too though.

Meh, not a fan of led or hid in a headlight engineered for a filament.

If u do go projector, id suggest a retrofit with parts from the retrofit source.

Ebay/spyder/carid projectors are all ****... poor optics, leaky housings, and if u get the ones with all the blingy crap that lights up, those fail, the "halo or angel eyes" crap out, plus u have extra wiring to deal with for crap lights.

Seen it for many years on tacomaworld.com

Hell even some sellers of those **** lights will have in fine print hidden in the site to add silicone prior to install

They say the LED is clockable so getting it to match the regular filament bulb would possible, and it comes with a 2 yr warranty which I think is pretty unheard of for lighting.

Well den, excited to see the output on these.

I have a led conversion kit from lumen had them for 2 years now and they work great! With factory housing it’s plug and play!

I tried that but couldn’t get a good shot because the lights seem to bright.. but they project further then stock lights and wider also in my opinion.

That was my concern.

Cant get pic cause too bright, and scatter...... yet no concern for oncoming drivers?
They can look at the white line on the right, but sometimes lights can be too much.
