Front door panel removal

How do I go about Getin the door panels off step by step? I don't want to mess anything up lol!
I can definitely help you on this...
First remove the black sail panel by popping it off ImageUploadedByTaco Forum1404928043.582706.jpgImageUploadedByTaco Forum1404928072.866895.jpg

Pop off the control cluster with a flathead... Make sure you pop off the forward most part the piece then slide the whole piece forward to remove it

Then you remove the connectors from it
Next you pop the whole panel from the door frame by sliding your hand in between the two parts ImageUploadedByTaco Forum1404927832.948609.jpg
Be careful not to break any of the clips.... Like I did.
Then after you have the panel popped off all the clips, you have to slide the panel up off the frame... Then with the panel off the door frame and still close to it, remove the connector from the tweeter...then you're all done and it's off!! To put it back on you just reverse the process, it's pretty simple. Hope this helped

I have a 2004 Tacoma that looks like this but has manual windows. I can't figure out how to get the window crank off.

There is a clip on the base of it that has to be removed. It usually is put on from the top down.

No, it is so snug I can't tell where the clip is. Aside from the fact that I would probably need a special tool specifically for that one type of clip.
I might be better off paying my repairman to do this.

$8 on amazon with a quick search

You can also use an old shirt. It’s a C clip that has to be popped out from behind the crank lever before the crank can slide off.You can pry the crank handle slightly enough to get a view of the clip, should be a goldish-brass color.
Might check harbor freight if you have one by you.
The clip is between the washer and the crank. Get a old shirt/shop towel, cloth anything that’s thin enough to fit between the washer and crank use a flat head screwdriver to get the shirt/towel in place. The clip should be installed with the opening facing the long part of the crank so pull towards the short end of that makes sense.

Try that ^ and let me know.

Hey, thanks, that was very helpful.
Amazon sez This does not fit your: 2004 Toyota Tacoma
but the t-shirt worked. One side was easy and I was able to pry out the clip. The other side, I couldn't get at it, and struggled until the whole handle flew off and it took me a while to find the clip in the gravel.
Appreciate the help.

Haha. Glad that worked and saved you from having to pay your repairman to do it. You would have been shaking your head when he grabbed a rag and popped it off in 1 min and took your money.
