I am looking to change out my 5100 Bilstein adjustable shocks for something that sit a little more off the ground. Currently they are set at 1.5 in front and 1 inch w/ blocks in the back. I am running 18 inch wheels with 275. What would you suggest to go with? Looking too stay around $1000 budget.

You can run lift spindles if you are 2wd and keep the 5100s. The rear would need a need at least an AAL but you would still have bro lean. A new leaf pack would bring it up but you might be over your budget.

For 4wd you are limited to about 3 inches of lift without a drop bracket lift.

Keep your 5100’s. Get the OME 887 coils and set the bilsteins to 0 that will give you 3” of lift in front. Get the Dakar leaf pack in back. That will be about $1000 and you’ll have a solid 3” lift.

I don't know a WHOLE lot about lifts but after 3 years of owning my taco and a lot of research This is a very good option.. OP will figure it out. I learned the hard way with junk country years ago..

I haven’t fooled with lifts much that’s why I avoid the threads. I don’t want to post about something I don’t know much about.
I’ve learned through much advice posted on this thread to avoid Rough Country lifts (or Junk Country as @whippersnapper02 refers to them).
