What kind of fuel mileage should this truck get? Filled up today (2nd tank) got like 17.5mpg.

That seems about right give or take a mpg. They are rated 17city/19hwy

That's pretty average for myself. It's been known to be less but that's not the trucks fault! I usually get around 17mpg though.

Well first thing to remember (or learn) is the 3.4 was never known for it's gas sipping mileage because it doesn't sip, it doesn't GULP either, I'd say a steady stream is about right & depending if in town or on freeway/highway 17.5 was your highway mileage probably, it'd be slightly less in town but if anyone is squeezing 19 (toyota's claim IIRC)

What piss's me off is that the 4.0 is stronger/more power/ & worse, better gas mileage than the 3.4...

Sometimes i dip below 17 in winter, carrying a few hundred lbs of persons, Dug, luggage, in headwinds, up in the 7000+ft ranges, doing 75ish and spiritedly passing 5 or 6 cars at a time.

I’ve never got over 18mpg I get 13 in town and 17 on the hwy lucky it I can combo for a Roy Moore special.

Didn’t know you were driving around here! You and Dug plowing down pedestrians.
Sir Dug today
