How many miles have you gotten out of your bfg a/t?

This is a subjective thing. It depends on how you maintain the tire and how you drive. If you are always driving around over or under pressure, racing around, off roading, not rotating them, your alignment is off... these can all decrease mileage. I’ve got 5000 miles on mine and they still look brand new. :)

At 5k hopefully they wouldn’t be worn! I’m only at 6k and can’t wait till I have an excuse to upgrade from the stock Toyo A30 Open Country tires that came on the truck.
Can’t really complain about them though. Good traction on and off road and they do great in the snow.

I sold the Goodyear’s that came on mine with less than 300 miles on them. I couldn’t wait.

I should probably do the same. But I’m on the fence of what I want when I replace them. So that’s another excuse for a while.
If I didn’t take them off immediately I would have ran them for the life like you. Used tires are almost worthless on CL. You have to take them off with less than 300 miles to get any money out of them. As soon as you say 500 miles or 1000 miles people view them as used and the value goes down drastically.

Very true.

My truck sways as if the sway bar is disconnected ever since I put these tires on. (The sway bar is not disconnected) anyone have a clue why?

I consistently get 55k out of the BFGs, only tire I will ever run. However, I drive ALOT. My 05 has 300k and my 13 has 112k. I did try a set of Toyo MTs and got 17k out of them, yet my AT or MT BFGs consistently clock far better mileage. But please note: I run the recommended LOAD pressure in the tires, 80 psi, on the highway and only air down for off road. This makes for a hard ride, but on the highway I average 18-22 mpg. It really matters how you drive, as with an 80 psi tire you can roast the tire off of it if you like the throttle. And, btw, I put new on at 55k: they still have 1/4 tread and I put the old ones on my trailers. Just my .02....
