Looking for enough lift to fit 33s without rub. Front coilovers come with 2.5 in preload and the rear has an AAL (heavy duty) to support this monster RTT/bed rack/gear/[emoji481], you know the essentials. Issues? Advice? Cautions?Message_1518913768758.jpg

With that set up you’ll be able to fit 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 tires on 0 or -6 offset wheels. I’m not sure what the offset on the FJ TRD wheels you where asking about is. Otherwise the biggest you can fit is 265/75/16 or 265/70/17.
The 285/75/16’s will rub on the front mud flaps and when turning into a hard bump. There may be some trimming and cab mount chop required depending on how heavy you off-road.

I plan on putting on the cab mount chop plates to help eliminate that rub during full lock and suspension compression. Just want to try to get enough tire to get the lil taco over intermediate trails (maybe a little more rough) without seeing tire through my hood lol. Not sure about the offset on those wheels either...time to research. Thanks again! You da man.

Looks like the FJ wheels are 17x7.5” +14 offset and the 285/70/17 tire should work with removal of the front mud flap you will eliminate rubbing with turing into hard bumps with the cab mount chop. If they are +15 they will still clear the UCA any higher offset and you won’t clear the UCA.

Good bye FJ wheels. Time for a better offset.
I’d find some with a 0 or -6 offset you like. The FJ wheels would probably work after trimming and cab mount chop if you really want them to work with 285/70/17 tires.

I have that RTT setup and currently using the FJ 16x8 with 0 offset 285/75/16. Using 5100s and Dakar. So far so good for me.
