As an update to my older post I went to the dealer today... couldn't close on a deal. Started with a black short bed then changed to a grey long bed. They didn't have the long bed in black which is what I prefer so I speculated on the grey. Talked them down to 37000 and left it at that. Any opinions on that price? 2 year maintenance 60k mile powertrain warranties included. As a side note I looked at the chassis... seems a little on the thin side... also salesman said oil change intervals are 10k miles. That's a little too far for my liking. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Use CarGurus.com to look around your area for a better price and find the one you want. Call around and haggle. A couple thousand in savings is worth a little bit of a drive.
As far as the warranties you listed, those are standard. And if you don’t like the frequency on the oil changes do it sooner. I do mine at 5k.

Did you buy it or you’re still negotiating?

Ask them what their invoice is on it. If they are honest and aren’t hiding anything they will tell you. $1000 over invoice is fairs less is in your favor.
For a 2018 base off road $37000 seems close. Tell them you want a bed mat, TRD pro grille, and a Platnuim $0 deductible 8yr 100k mile warranty and do the $37000 it’s a deal.

If you can negotiate all that it’d be awesome. It’s always worth a shot. They will buck on some of it probably but if they don’t want to give there’s always others dealerships.

Yep walk away and they will give you what you want or you keep looking. The best way to shop for a vehicle is when you don’t really need it.

[emoji1312]Yes!

Make sure that they know that you have so many other options and that you will push back harder than they do. Not sure of your area but I got a Sport with 100K for a pretty good bit less than 37. It helps to have plenty of leverage in your wallet as well. Might be worth waiting a few months to build up some more “leverage.”

My 2017 off road access cab sticker price was 35800$ but got it for 34k. I think MSRP will vary up or down a couple thousand depending on the area you live. 37k sounds msrp for a dbcb. Does it have a sunroof, dual climate zone, leather or cloth. Etc.

Who are you asking?
