Leaky back glass

Hello all, has anyone had issues with a rear glass leak? I have an 07 TRD sport with the sliding rear window. After heavy rain the headliner is wet sometimes. Yesterday the leak was bad enough that it went down the front of the seat. Any suggestions?

That sucks. The truck is 11 years old so the seal may be worn out. I’d look at the seal and see. That’s a good place to start.

There are drain holes that can get plugged up might check those.

The headliner?

Is there a gasket behind the 3rd brakelight that can be checked?

Just read this closer..... if the headliner is wet it probably isn’t the back glass seal. Always go to the highest point with water.
Look at the third brake light or sunroof like @Bojangles and @OR17TRD said.
If you have a SiriusXM antenna on top of the truck look there too. If it’s the antenna it’s nothing a little clear silicone won’t fix. I had the same problem in a Silverado.

Thanks for the advice. It’s mostly the headliner that gets wet. But, after a really hard rain the seat was soaked. I’m going to silicone everything that can come apart. Thanks.

Is there a sunroof?

Is there a sharkfin?

Did you check the 3rd brake light?

There is a small drain iirc on the bottom of the slider or was it the top? I THINK @Tacomaholic had to replace his and made a video.

Since the headliner is the highest point getting wet, i highly doubt its just the window seal. Could be a combination of things.

No sunroof or shark fin. I ran a bead of silicone across the top of the trim and all around the third brake light. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
