Welcome to the forum.
If it’s not knocking in park/at idle that should narrow down the causes but there are still a plethora of things it can be from a loose wheel, something in the rim, to transmission/drivetrain.
Without audio or video it’s hard to diagnose over the forum and answers will be vague shots in the dark at best.

Video with good audio would help us narrow it down. Automatic? I guess it’d be possible for the flywheel/ flex plate to have cracked but I haven’t actually heard of it being an issue. Tacoma’s don’t have enough horses to stress the flex plate that much. How many miles are on it? Do you stay on top of oil changes etc.?

Welcome to the forum. Like @Crawdad said video with audio would help.
Post to YouTube then post the YouTube link here.

How many miles you got on it? On the 3.4 autos the flex plate is known for cracking/breaking. It would sound like a flywheel/tranny thing. It's no fun either...
