2019 Engine Knock Noise Please Help

It's cheaper for them to say "normal" and wait until it breaks, then warrantee claim it. You wouldn't want them to waste their precious time diagnosing your issue when they can be looking for issues on vehicles that are no longer under warrantee.

    Fuel door issues

Yes, I can attest to this. Works great in door locks and pad locks, too. Sent from my LG-H812 using Taco Forum mobile app

    TPMS issue

Also, you can check them yourself with Carista and the $20 OBD2 "dongle." I got mine from Amazon.

    TPMS issue

Damn. I hope you get it sorted out. If you find out, let us know what the issue is. The only other thing I can think of is that they all got "fried" electronically, but I have no idea how that could happen to all 4.

Silly question, but are you sure the sensors are even there?

    Transmission questions

I'm at 16000 km on my '17 and although the transmission has calmed down a bit, I still notice some hesitation and clunking here and there, mostly on deceleration and coming to a full stop. Sometimes it seems like it clunks right after I come to a complete stop. I guess I've pegged that to good...

    Stupid question (Windshield wipers)

My dealer sells replacement blades only for $9.95 (CAD) each and swaps them out for me. I've been doing this for years with my OE wipers for summer and I use Trico Ice for winter.

    Vent shade

The AVS in-channel model does have a sticky band at the top that adheres (outward facing) to the rubber door seal. Contrary to what I also thought at first, they are not held in/on by pressure.

‘17 Taco Off Road Dash Rattle

My '17 Sport had a glove box rattle. Turns out the culprit was the plastic shelf when weight was placed on it. Fixed that, now I get a passenger side dash tick or click when going over road bumps, but only during sub-zero weather (32F). Thankfully no driver side noise as you've described, so far...

Yes, I remember them being polarity specific. Use a voltmeter to check.

    Toyota over hall

Not to be that guy, but it's "overhaul." I wouldn't trust the information just yet. Are you planning on holding out until then to buy?
