    it looks more like an axle seal and not the shaft or the boot.. i cant speak for toyota but i had a subaru with the same problem and the subaru dealership only charged me $75 to fix

    when you put bigger tires on the truck are you bringing it to the dealer or a shop to have the ecu or the odometer recalibrated otherwise i dont see how anyone is getting an accurate mpg reading

    i tightened the hell out of a 4" hose clamp around the center of the shield and i havent heard any rattling for the past 6 months
