Has anyone out there done any mods to get a little more power out of their 2.7. Mine has 117000 on it and it just feels like its always pulling something. Just a little too sluggish for me. What are some good ideas to beef it up!??

So I am getting ready to head down to south carolina from indiana in my new to me taco. Its a 97 with the 2.7 manual trans 4x4. Other than the obvious tune up are there any suggestions on what to check before such an arduous journey??

Just bought my first Tacoma and needless to say im in love. Ive always been a Ford Ranger guy but found what I thought was a good deal on an old 97'. This baby is a 1997 2.7l 5-speed 4x4 with 117000 original miles and it is a 9/10 in every possible category! Cant wait to see what this baby can...
