Wheel spacers are the cheapest way to widen your stance. Some people say they are dangerous but plenty of people have them, myself included. Another way is buy aftermarket wheels with different offset. Here's my truck with 1.25" wheels spacers and 0mm offset wheels

No rwd is 2wd only at rear wheels. Only 4wd will have a front diff

I personally like the look of the long bed over the short. But unless you plan on using your bed all the time, go for the one you like. When you do haul stuff just leave the bed down, and maybe get a bed extender.
