I had an sr5 and now have trd sport. I can tell a big difference in the ride and extra small things like 120 volt in the bed etc. My opinion go with trd and upgrade that little at a time.
I had an 06 basic SR5 Tacoma with level kit and not TRD with 96K miles on it. I went to dealer thinking I was going to get around $8-$10K at best for trade in. They gave me $13K and didn’t even test drive it lol.
Had inspection today. Toyota dealership approved it but still has to be approved by corporate. Also, once approved they are only painting the two rear doors because those are the only areas affected. As a 3rd gen owner do u think that’s fair? My question to them was, is the new paint going to...
Just an update. I just called Toyota and my truck was approved on a recall for paint. They were surprisingly nice about it and my truck will be 100% inspected. Only thing that sucks is that they might only paint areas that are approved in my opinion. I just hope the new paint matches the existing.
After a heavy rainstorm I noticed the paint was pealing off on the rear passenger door. Is this common for 3rd generation Tacoma’s? I bought it used with 17K miles on it a year ago, one owner and had CarFax etc reports came back clean. Or does any1 suspect this was not original paint?
Has any1 tried painting there stock 3rd gen grill? I want to paint mine matte black but need to know what type of paint to get. I saw one parked one day and it looked good.
Looks clean. Even matches the DRL color. I just got some Cougar 6K kelvin for Xmas and happy with them. Got good reviews on Amazon but need to get the high beams.
Ok I am tired of wasting money on tire shine that last only two days. I know there’s something out there that last way longer. I remember som1 told me Cover All by Superior products but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Any1 here have any secrets they would like to share?
