Hey guys got a 02 Trd off road taco.
Looking to do a 6 inch lift.

Now budget is around 1k.

Has anyone used the rough country 6inch lift.

Has anyone done a coil over in the front with 4 inch max and uca and stuff. 3-4 inch shackle in the rear and 3 inch shocks.

Need some help do alot of overlanding off road eith need to clear rocks for some trials and then some Tim's some fun in the desert need help.

Personally I'm not a fan of blocks or body lifts. I'd do suspension only. If you want to make it flex, suspension will let it do that. Blocks wont. I don't know too much about the rough country stuff so I don't wanna start saying what's what... I did a lift a while back and am very pleased with the result. I did a bilsteen 5100 adj series, eibach springs, total chaos ucas, o.m.e. leafs/shackles and got a massive improvement in how it rides. The paperwork would say it's a 4" lift... before the lift I couldnt fit a soda can standing up on the tire and not hit the fender wells. Now I could fit a body between the space! My 2c...[emoji29]

You can't go more than 3in with just a suspension lift. That's the limit for the front CVs. After 3in you need to use a body lift or a drop bracket lift. Neither are functional lifts for offroad.

If you are just going for appearance/looks than go for it.

With a drop bracket lift like the rough country, you will have to cut out the front cross member. It pretty much lowers the whole front suspension to avoid putting the CVs at a steep angle as I mentioned before. Because it drops down you don't gain any ground clearance between the front wheels.
