New Tacoma owner.

Nice truck and welcome. We have recommendations for any budget. If it’s zero dollars drive it and enjoy it the way it is. Save up same money then ask again. We’re on here all the time.

The budget would be $500 for now. But I want to look at this truck as a very long investment. I love tacomas and I want to drive as long as possible. I really would want to eventually make a nice crossover between work and my hobbies. I'm a mountain biker. But for now trying to stay under 500 for at least a couple months.

Bike rack,Floor mats , bed mat. My suggestions . I don’t mountain bike I’m assuming a bike rack is way easier on the bike than throwing it in the back.

It really all depends on what kind of look and functionality you’re going for. It is a great looking truck as it sits. But if you’re anything like me, I can NOT live without a tanneau cover. Going on trips or even to the grocery store having something to keep your belongings or food items out of the elements while keeping cab space is a huge advantage. That would be my first purchase. A good trifold would still leave you a couple hundred to play with in your budget range.

Upgrading interior and exterior lighting can be fairly inexpensive as well.

I love the bed cover. Second truck that I’ve owned with one. Great idea. He may can find a used one on the cheap also

Same Lil G. I had a F150 I bought new in 2011 and fist thing I did was order a bestop cover. I had never had one on any other trucks and didn’t know what I was missing. Luckily the taco had one already on when I bought it so that was one less upgrade I had to do lol

I’m not sure on that one. Although the last time I upgraded an intake on anything was 20 years ago in a lowered Honda 1 inch off the ground and all it seemed to do was make a loud sound sucking air in haha

Thank you guys! I was thinking like a overland bedrsxk with bike mounts on the side Anda roof top rack eventually. But I'm still considering the bedcover. Its worth investing in a better air intake system?

If I were you I would invest in the bike rack since that’s your hobby. Just my two cents worth. I don’t have a air intake system on mine and in all honesty will probably never put one on it. But that’s just me

Look on Craigslist or eBay. Some people buy the Tacoma with a bed cover and put a shell or a overland rack on it and sell the cover. I’m not sure how much the rack your referring to cost but it maybe worth waiting saving then buying what you want
