Mud flaps

trying to remove front mud flaps on my Taco, just got 33” tires and have a 3” puck (lift) in the front and they are rubbing with every turn. When I went to remove them I could only get three regular screws out but the other snap in screws on the stock fender flares wouldn’t come out. Any suggestions? Would like to avoid taking a sawzall to them. Every video I’ve watched involves cutting them out.

Wait, i misread..... U cant get the plastic clips out????

Pull no?

Mine have been gone for a long time, but cant remember any issues

I’ve taken a flat head screw driver to them and just busted the plastic caps That cover the snap screws, It seems like they help to hold the stock fender flares on. Is that the case?
