Redline Hood lifts

Well I figured they'd make one using an existing bolt or bolt hole. I'd rather not drill a hole if it can be avoided.

Drilling a few holes is not difficult.
Just touch them up with something like a little paint on the bare metal, before installing the bolts, to help stop corrosion.
It doesn't matter what color the paint is, it will be hidden anyway.
I just keep a black touch up paint, the type with the brush, just for jobs like this.

i believe these sokie techs hood struts are non-drilling. don't know how good they are or where they are made.

just curious how easy the hoods close with the redline struts? i haven't found any videos on that part.

i dont want to install on my fordari and not have it close properly. or bend/dent the hood trying to close it.

Just stand on it T...its just a hood ;)

These hoods are heavy and was thinking of carbon fiber hood but these might be a little cheaper alternative.
No way is a carbon fiber hood cheaper, they run over $1000, the ones I’ve seen anyway are expensive

Disregard what I said funnyguy I misread. As you said this would be a cheaper alternative than a carbon fiber hood. Still early

From what I'm reading it comes with attachment points that use existing bolts in the hood and engine bay.
That’s great if it’s true because I was looking for no drilling remedy at first but went with redline anyway. Good luck with that if you decide to go that way.
