The BS Thread To Rule Them All!!!

Yeah, my neighbor bought that right after I bought my Tacoma. Always trying to out do me. ;)
I have one like that. I had a 2007 Tundra and bought a 2017 Tacoma he had a Ford150 then bought a Tacoma. I sold that and bought a 2018 Tundra he bought a 2019 Tundra. So... I sold that and bought these. :D

And a 82 4wd SR5 22r 5spd short bed with factory AC, PS and sunroof. BEEA72CA-2C13-4D6D-991D-B69D174C75B3.jpeg
Let’s see what he does now. :p

Thanks. My brother keeps wanting to buy it from me. I told him $12k he can have it. I think he might do it. :(

I’m not sure what market on those is but if it’s 100% operational it beats the snot out of paying for a new one!

My Papaw had an 85’ back in the day, little lift, 33’s and that damn thing would go ANYWHERE! That’s where my Toyota love started, it’s taken me this long to finally get one of my own!

If I get to the point where I have more wrench time to spare I’d like to find an older one and build it. Dana’s, Cummins BT4, 4wheel disk, 35’s... just a few mild mods here and there. [emoji6]

The EFI in 85 would be sweet to find. These 80’s toyota trucks are what got me hooked on toyota too.
This is 100% operational. I’ve seen them range between $4k beat up to $40k depending on mileage and condition. They are getting harder and harder to find. This one was the top of the line toyota pick up in 1982. SR5 22r 5spd. Its had 3 owners. The 22r was rebuilt with performance cam and bored over about 50k miles ago. The front diff was rebuilt about 5k miles ago. It’s got a 2” lift with new 32x8.5x15 swampers. KC lights work. AC works, power steering is tight, breaks are good. No dash lights on. Webber carb, header and straight piped to muffler. Transfer case works good, transmission is good, No water leaks, Sun roof is operational. Sliding rear window locks and opens. The window cranks are a little wore out but you can still get the windows up and down with help. There is three small cracks on the dash. Some rust in and around the bed but it is going to be fixed soon. It’s not your $40k show room truck but it’s a loaded straight 39 year old 4x4 toyota pickup. It gets attention every where it goes.
