Seat belt buzzer

More of a bell I guess... Anyway, does anyone know if there’s a way to turn it off? I have 2 reasons for wanting to do this. First, I have a 78lb dog that rides with me and I have to strap the passenger belt because it thinks someone is in the seat. (Never had that issue in other vehicles [emoji2369]) Second, I work new home construction and am in abs out of the truck all day but primarily just in my community that’s under construction.

Thanks,

~ Nick

Look at getting a Carista OB2 scanner and the app. Gives you the ability to do that and more.

When I bought my 2017 Tacoma I told the dealer I have a dog and asked nice if they could turn the seat belt chime off. They turned it off for me. No charge.

Ok, I’ll have to give that a try. Harvey was with me the first time I went into the dealership so they know him, maybe that’ll help. [emoji6]

So i my work cloths on passenger seat today made it think the seatbelt need to be put on. Waited the minute for all the buzzing to stop. Drove home, an hour long drive never came back on..

You still driving the Tundra? I haven’t been on here in forever because I can’t get Tapatalk or the app to work.

What’s happened. Seems like action has went way down on the forum. Kinda sucks. Is @Bojangles @kp.taco @whippersnapper02 and @BMan still kicking around on here?

Dealership can turn it off for you if you find the right language to trick them into it. lol
