Hi,

First post. Brand new to this site. Just brought home a 2014 Tacoma 4X4 dblcab with the longer bed. I want to raise it up some but keep that great ride it has. I don't want to waste money buying something that sucks. I see a lot of posts saying "don't use spacers." I am looking at the 4" lift kit from Rough Country. What do you guys think? any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't buy anything from junk country. If you want more than 3 inches look at RCD. If you decide to stick with 3 then look at Billstein or OME.

Thanks Whip. Gonna do Bilsteins on the front and an AAL, was just wondering about the rear shocks. Only looking for a little higher stance.

I'm such a noob. I just figured out AAL = add a leaf, right?

Just bought the Tacoma. Took it offroad for the first time today. Took her through Lovell Canyon just over the Spring Mountains from Vegas. Awesome for a stock vehicle! I'm used to offroading in my Baja Bug.

Thanks for the DSM tip.
