How much lift for 34x10.50 tires?

These trucks don't like big tires. 33s rub a bit with a 3 inch lift.

With my 1.5 to 2 inch lift I would have to cut the cab mount and run new wheels to get 33s under. The front is what does it.

I have billy 5100s up front (2.5in of lift) and a 3inch body lift and I had to cut the cab mounts to fit 35s. And I have 1.25inch wheel spacers ImageUploadedByTaco Forum1392774699.289172.jpgImageUploadedByTaco Forum1392774707.738956.jpg and I still have to under coat

I've cleared 33's with 3 inches easy no cutting and no rubbing at all. A lot of people run 35's with a 6 inch with no cutting and no trimming. I have 37's on my 07 dcsb with 8.5 inches and I just bearly rub my sway bar but nowhere else.

You get 2 sides to everything. 33s rub on one truck while they don't on the other. My friends truck rubs with 35s and a 6 inch Craptech lift.

I just gave worst case scenario.

Got ya. I've helped on a few 6 inch procomp and fab tech lifts and they cleared 35's no prob. I you split it 3 and 3 then I'd say it would rub.

Guess I'll just wait to put the 34's on till I do an SAS I guess. Gonna be awhile before I get to that point

I run 33's with a 3 inch lift no rubbing and some space to spare. If we're talking about jumping the thing then......yes I will rub

I have a 6.5" MaxTrac spindle lift and my 34.5" tires rub when wheel travels upward during a turn. It's my wheels though. -12mm offset. Plus the spindle kicks the wheel out an additional 3/4". So the wheels stick out pretty far. I like the look, don't like the rubbing. Gotta cut a little more of the plastics. ImageUploadedByTaco Forum1412265935.694771.jpg

Not all larger tires are the same size, depending on the manufacturer the tire could be slightly wider or taller. Aftermarket rims could greatly change the size of any large truck tire. Along with air pressure. I personally have a 4 x 4 what up 33 BF Goodrich all-terrain, under normal circumstances they don't rub. I have tried to save a little bit of money with inexpensive Cooper mud tires, found them to be slightly different in size.

Yep, I also have a 6" BDS lift and running some nitto's 34.5" tires an they rub when I fully turn, so I had to do some trimming on the cab mounts, now is ok, unless I'm doing some bouncing off-roading ImageUploadedByTaco Forum1413702047.327278.jpgImageUploadedByTaco Forum1413702081.996085.jpgImageUploadedByTaco Forum1413702115.659730.jpgImageUploadedByTaco Forum1413702178.730141.jpg

Haha, C'mon guys, he's 1st gen for one thing , no cab mounts to chop & OP you could go to 4" in front (with drop bracket, not recommended tho') beat down all the pinch welds & I'm betting you'll still rub in a turn off roading & yeah, wait till you SAS ... IFS sucks ....
