Has anyone knocked out their catalytic converters?

I have an 05 tacoma sport, it has four cats on it. Ive been getting the "bad catalytic converter" codes for both driver and passenger sides for some time now. I pulled off my driver side front cat, and it looks perfect. However my trucks still throwing the code and im not passing emissions (im a Maryland resident). So im thinking of just knocking out the cat. My question is has anyone on here done so, and if so, what effects did it have? Thanks

You can but the truck will not run right. 02 sensor will read too rich of conditions & you will not have enough fuel.

How? The upstream sensor is what reads rich or lean. That sensor is located above the cat.

On the Nissan I have it sets off the check engine light which is annoying not to mention the smell of toxic gas entering your lungs but I guess it's worth it bc now it purrs like a lion.
