Passenger Seat Rattle

Okay so I know this is a very common problem and I've tried almost every solution but no luck because it's not where other people are getting the noise. I've concluded that my rattle is coming from the side closest to the console specifically where the lever is to fold the seat down from the back. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? It's driving me CRAZY

I'm not trying to be a smarty pants by asking you this. Did you check the seatbelt buckle? The belt that retracts into the side. If it's twisted it will rattle. The buckle bangs against the plastic. I had that problem and have to straighten it out when my wife gets out of the truck. Just a thought.

Haha no worries and Ya I've checked everything that other people have posted about... I haven't seen anything about it coming from the side closest to console though.. It has to be something with the mechanism that connects to the handle on the back of the seat but it's going to take me pulling the seat out to get to it.

Might just take it to the dealership and make them deal with it. The trucks too expensive and too new to already have problems. Pretty disappointed with the quality of the interior honestly..

I don't blame you. I'd have them do it in case they need to order parts.

Dang that's early to have a problem like that, I'd take it to the dealership and make them fix it, mine has a little over 30k on it

My dealership is such a pain in the ass to deal with. They'll probably tell me it's not their fault and i caused it by lifting it smh

I'm telling you... He basically called me a liar after they scratched up my paint when washing it. I almost lost it

My dad had the dealership repaint an entire truck cause they scratch a side horribly, but that was GMC and he just called the corporate office and had a 3 hour talk about how the staff is "incompetent and uneducated"
