Frustrated

I purchased my Taco TRD Off Road access cab the week before Thanksgiving. Thought I would share/vent my issues with you guys. Since day one, the driver side window rattles like crazy when down about 1-2 inches. Had the window looked at twice by two different dealers to no avail even though they both assured me that the issue had been resolved. IMO no new vehicle should have any kind of rattle anywhere!
On to the second issue, rear drums have been replaced @ 1100 miles. I've been feeling a vibration throughout the whole truck and brake pedal since purchase when coming to stop at speeds at or below 25mphs. First dealer said it was normal, second dealer replaced the drums. Either way, the vibration is still there after the drums were replaced this past week.
Other issues I'm having: Clunking when going from park to reverse and from reverse to drive and finicky transmission shifts... at this point I'm ready to get Toyota corporate involved... Thanks for reading .. Any thoughts and or comments would be appreciated..

My 6 speed auto shifts like crap, wont stay in 6th at highway speeds, got 13mpg on recent trip. 13mpg???? Tranny has an obvious problem. Going to dealer this week.

The are multiple TSB's in all of those issues. Referencing the drive shaft, transmission mounts, motor mounts, rear end. Is it still under warranty?

Ive searched on the web and found 0 tsbs for the 2016 tacoma. Where can i find/see them?

I did. 0 tsbs for 2016 model. My issue will be fixed with a computer update. Shift point adjustment.

The shake when slowing down is the Trans. They're still working on the updated software for the 2016 as of yesterday.

Just a quick update - Called Toyota Corp about my driveline vibration when slowing down.. Got a case # and then made an appointment at the dealer - They've had my truck for a week now with no resolution in sight. At this point, they are either being tight lipped about the issue or have no clue how to fix it -- I'm stuck with a Corolla for the time being

Taconwr16. My vibration when slowing ended up being the driveshaft and Toyota knows about but there is no fix for it. I also called corporate and started a complaint.

Received another call today from Corporate. They are still working on the issue and have dispatched additional personnel to look at the truck ... Will keep you all posted on the findings.. if any...

Thanks for the input!

Got my truck back today - they checked my transmission fluid which was a little low but they didn't specify how low - they swapped tires and driveshafts with another vehicle on the lot and they checked my rear brakes again - after all that the problem is still there. I think I'll be making some lemonade soon - I am at a loss -

Sure your truck needs a one off, custom driveshaft to correct a vibration!! Iam sure Toyota engineers are all over this problem just for you

Did you by chance have your ECT button turned on? It knocks me into the low teens with loads of torque and power. When off its 20/22

This is avery common problem on all lifted tacos across the board and the fix is indeed a one piece drive shaft or some see results from washers in the carrier bearing
