Leaf spring recall?

Did anyone get their leaf springs changed? Just curious, took mine in today to the dealer to get some fresh new leafs my my taco!

I need to do mine but have a lift, did you and if so did they put rear lift back on
They did mine few days ago, got brand new leafs. I don't have my lift installed yet, I'm stilling Saving for the tires. But honestly I'm not sure if they'll do it if you have a lift. If call them or maybe ask for the part and you could install it yourself? But I doubt they'd allow that.

Good idea mabye i can just claim leaf pack that in owed from recall

No lift here. They replaced the leaf springs and thats about it other than the necessary hardware. Quick turn around about 5 hours and they gave me a loaner. This recall went MUCH better than the frame recall

I got lucky... My 2009 had the proper "3 clip" springs installed at the factory. However, the dealer that sold me the truck could not figure this out. Ended up taking my truck to a different Toyota dealer...

The frame recall was such bs, they don't even replace your frame unless the whole thing is rusted to ****. This was my friends experience though. My Tacoma has no rust on it, then again its a Cali truck.

Every oil change i spray down my frame with wd40, might sound stupid but my frame looks like brand new

The road salt up here in Pennsylvania kills cars and trucks. Before I owned my 09 Tacoma... I drove a 2002 Tundra. That truck was a beast!!! and never had a major problem with 250,000 miles on it.
Once the Toyota dealer coated the frame due to rust recall..... The check engine light would always light up??? and the truck would stall out??? Local mechanics and two Toyota dealers could not find the problem. I guess the same think could happen to my current Tacoma!?! I'm always powerwashing the underside of my truck during winter thaws here up north.
