Set up messaging issue

I have the 2017 Tacoma. Each time I start car I have to setup messaging all over again. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

IPhone or Android? I believe there is an issue with iPhones. Don't have a problem with my Samsung S5. An Apple user may be able to help, if so.

Had same issue with my iPhone, 1 time, last month, purchased it in June of this year. Seems to be ok now. May have something to do with the iPhone update I did.

I just purchased 2017 TRD Sport. I can receive phone calls and texts but not emails. To send text I have to use Siri by pressing microphone symbol on key pad of my iPhone.
Took it up Island in the snow today. It was awesome.

It work once for messages yesterday after factory reset then it went away .... samsung s6. This sysytem is just no good at all.

Be sure to sign into entune every time you fire up the truck. My iPhone 7 can't reply but it tells me about the message and will read it to me.

Unfortunately iPhones are not set to reply on the Tacoma's but you could use the Siri option to send the text messages

By pressing and holding phone call button on your steering

Also you may have to allow your phone messages into your car that option you can find in Bluetooth settings of your phone

I just bought a 2017 TRD Off Road. I also have a Samsung S7 and no problem with the messages. However I would like to access my 2 email accounts. For some reason it only pairs to 1. The manual doesn't explain anything about this, but it does show an illustration - "SMS (Text) Email 1 Email 2", so I assume it's possible. I've sent comments to several on Youtube and have yet to get an answer. Even my Toyota dealer can't figure it out!
