I may be a bit of a pessimist on this subject. I see so many vehicles damaged by idiot tweakers and theives. They punched a hole in my neighbor's gas tank and drained the tank a few months ago.
 
You park on the street in my town in just about any neighborhood you can expect someone to bash your window in if the scumbag sees profit in it. That's just a fact of life. I don't ever leave any of my vehicles outside my gate. Cheaper that way...
 
Yea. I hear ya Longshore. I garage both my vehicles. But have parked bimmer in many hotel parking lots with no damage to date. Lucky? Maybe. Lol
 
Lol hotel lots are another story. All bets are off there. When we do travel we hit the road about about 3am so I'm liable to interrupt one doing his thing. Reminds me I still need to do the tailgate lock mod...
 
Thieves can be brazen. They broke into the trunk of my wife's cruiser at 5 in the morning. My neighbor saw it but he said he didn't want to get involved

Also, although I respect the heck outta those, if u had those but like with flaming skulls, thatd be the bitchingist!!!!!
