I pull this.....about 4500 loaded for a trip. Load equalizing hitch and a good brake controller and no issues. You know it’s there on hills and inclines, but nothing it can’t handle.
About 4500 with all of our stuff in it. Using an equalizer hitch and it pulled it fine. Has to work a bit on the hills, but nothing that is working the truck to hard.
Congrats on the new truck. I went up to 265-75/16’s on my 2017 SR5 and haven’t notice much difference. I may have lost 1 mpg all around. I get 16.5 - 18 around town and on a recent long trip that was mostly interstate I got 21-22. Both of these fluctuate a little depending on how I drive. I am...
I have a 2017 SR5 and drove it 3.5 hours to Chicago and the same back .....got 20 + mpg and had none of the shifting issues you all describe.....sure beats the 17 mpg from my 4.6 tundra. And it gets 17.5-18.5 weekly driving. I love mine.....I think a lot of people expect to much of the 3.5 and...
I bought a 2017 DCLB SR5 4x4 the middle of November for 32,500 and the sticker was 35,800. I didn't even have to fight for that price. Sent them a email off their website and that's the price they have me. That was a dealer in Indianapolis.

I'm 6'5" with 34" inseam as well and I am comfortable in my 2017. I have about and 1" to an 1 1/2" above my head. I set in one with a moonroof and that was a no go. My head hit the moonroof trim. I do like my seat back reclined a notch or 2 do to my long arms. That may help me a bit on headroom...
Picked this up a couple of months ago. Was planning to keep my 2011 Tundra for a lot longer but got a good trade in and a good deal on this 2017 DCLB SR5 4x4 so I had to make the switch. Loving it so far. Glad to be a part of the Tacoma group.
I have a Tonno Pro Trifold on my Tundra. It's 6+ years old and still looks good and is still tight. I will be buying the same thing when I get my Tacoma.
