I think price was not that much more than the PnL. I just like adding OEM parts where I can. It’s my second set (first one went on the TRD OR) and have been happy with it. No issues so far.

It’s basically like the pop-n-lock but comes from Toyota (lock actuator, plug and play harnesses, plastic and metal tie straps and replacement harness clips). Super easy install. Locks/unlocks with the key fob. It gives piece of mind against tailgate theft.

Will see how it works out. It’s light smoke so shouldn’t be a big difference.
