    manual or automatic

Reverse gear Auto 3.22 Manual 3.61 V6 Yeah that rear gear is jacked up for manual however as Whip stated "personal preference". I have no complaint with reverse. It is what it is. I didn't design it. I don't tow anything but am setup for it. I usually only shift using 1st, 3rd, 5th then...

    manual or automatic

6 speeds are geared for towing. The reason an auto gets better mileage is because they have a higher final gear. Auto 5th gear 0.72 compared to a manual's 6th gear 0.85. Mine, I get about 18/20 on average mpg. This winter blend of gas has dropped my mileage about 1~2 mpg. Still getting...

    Looking for LED Lightbulb

This place carries bulbs that are similar, might be a help. I've never did business with them but used the site to identify a few bulb sizes. http://www.superlumination.com/74.htm

    Camper shell Lock problem.

You might want to have that locksmith change the locks for 1 key, and not use the same lock. He can change the tumbler arrangement in the lock by pulling the cylinder out and then make a key. No telling who has the key to those locks. Hate to see you get just a key and then have stuff stole...

    Broke Drive Shaft

Whip, sounds like he has 2 3/4 in block lift and running 33's. That should not cause a driveshaft to break. I've never seen a driveshaft break only u-joints blow out. I agree u-joints on a 4x4 are serviceable. I lube mine every gear oil change, ie 30,000 miles. He doesn't state how many...

    Hard shifting

Change the fluid. Switch over to synthetic, should clear up your grinding issue. At least it did mine. Went from Dino to RP no more grinds for me since. Shifts alot smoother as well. 6 spd transmission oil should be changed every 30,000 miles. Shift it like a truck...slow & deliberate. Not...

Np, as for the windshield just shut down with the wipers up, pull them away from the windshield, lay your plastic across with enough overlap to shut in the doors. Put wipers down to hold in place. Works for snow as well, minimal scraping, side windows and back. Saves a ton of time and you don't...

Thanks Yota, you just reminded me I need to cut some painters plastic the length of my windshield. I hate scraping ice. Especially freezing rain kind that builds up like your photo. You can cover the side mirrors with gallon zip lock bags and then fold them in. Whatever you do don't scrape the...
