Title says it all. Automatic transmission on my 96 2.4 2wd seems to be better at making glitter paint then making the truck go forward. I have a ton of yards in my area with 96 2wd V6s but no 4cyl. Will a A340e from a V6 play nice with my ecu and motor?

I've had a 96 Taco 2wd 2.4 as a my DD/work truck for a couple years now and I'm just now digging into it. I used to work on Hondas and I've rebuilt a couple MR2s but this truck is mostly unfamiliar to me. The trans is FUBARd and the 2.4 has blow-by, but I don't care. I'll be cramming a 6.0 LS...
