I was thinking maybe rubber grommets around the "teeth" on the bottom of the door, and then a very thin stick on rubber gasket between the door and the compartment.

Here's my new 2015. I was going to wait on the 2016's to come out but figured this is a tried and true design. The new Taco changed a lot! Minus drum brakes lol
