    Been a while...

Okay first off hello to OR and Whipper! You two are the only ones I can remember lol. But this summer I sold my 2013 DCSB, or should I say traded it in on this... I know, I know how could I... Lots more room and I can throw a camper on it, just about any camper because its a 3500 lol. No...

    Towing a stick shift

Is it advisable to tow a '93 Toyota truck all four wheels on the ground with a towbar?

    Well shoot

Sometimes plans change. I got my 2013 DCSB brand new with 12 miles on her. We have had some real fun with this truck. Didn't run her much, you guys that know me know we've been saving it for retirement. In 2 months I'll have the pink slip. This truck has some scars. I ran the passenger...

    Just a little trail carnage...

Went around some rocks on the left and what looked like a rooted tree really was a loose log that rolled when I drove up on a part of it. My bad. The scuffs will rub out but the creases will always tell me I shoulda got sliders... But to get here you gotta take some chances. 8500ft...

    Chasing that vibration...

Okay got the suspension upgrade all done. Slight vibes from about 5mph to 20 or so. I did the bearing drop. I can almost live with it. Almost. I fear it will get worse over time. I do like the way it turned out tho!

    Sway bar...

I have my front coilovers and uca's in my 2013. Took it for a ride and WOW. Had a serious bro lean but what a difference from the old 4600s. My sway bar is not touching the new coil, and looks to have about a half inch of space. So I left the relocate kit on the bench. I guess these coils...

    My toy...

This is what I have so far...for the back Dakar OME 7 leaf with bilstein 5100s. Toytec coilovers 521600 and Fabtech uni ball UCA'S for the front. I have the carrier bearing drop kit and the sway bar relocation kit. Since I have the second gen not doing diff drop. All scheduled for installing...

Finally put a load on her...

    Rake...

Tried searching for this, but the site crashes. Just how much would one have to lift the front of a second gen to make the truck level. Is the term level subjective? A level on the bed rail would be an obvious to see rake. Is that what you guys do?

    Just ordered these...

www.realtruck.com/toytec-toyota-coilover-shocks/ttafcs-ha.html Seemed decent enough in the reviews. More guys and gals I talked to said Rancho was good, but Billys were newer technology. Rancho coils sagging was an issue for some too. But it's done now.

    Home made armor...

I have a friend who is a crack metal fab guy. First time I walked into his garage I thought I was back in metal shop class. He will replicate the factory splash plates in 1/4" plate steel. Then I have to figure best way to get the peices powder coated. But feeling great that I will save some...

    Bone head question...

First Taco. 2013 DCSB. Assume I know nothing about lifts and you will be close enough. I did learn here, in fact, that any more than a three inch lift was too much angle for the control arms. Unless you change them. I'm not going to build a trail rig, rather a retirement truck that will see...

Let's see some truck and trailer combos...

These Tacos are a little small in the storage dept...a trailer gives us just enough extra bed space for those weekend camping trips. I have been renting one but plan on getting a little military surplus trailer in the future. Looking for ideas let's see some trailers...
