I installed a Chaos UCA with 5100s and eibach springs. I get a hard pop/pounding sound over larger dips/holes. Has anyone had to put limiting straps on? Any help would be great.

I just did this exact lift but with Chaos UCA. I'm running 285/70/17 with little trimming and have minor rub at full lock under load.

I did the Toytech kit that has the 5100's w/eibach springs already assembled. They claim 3" in the front. I forgot to measure to see exactly what I got.

Removed front mud flaps and cut the front of the inner fender. It rubs a little bit when the wheels are turned and under compression at the same time. I'm talking a tiny bit, nothing that I'm worried about.

No I didn't. Actually it didn't throw the alignment off that much.

Bilstein 5100 w/Eibach springs in front, Total Chaos UCA, 2" AAL w/5100s in rear. Procomp 7032s w/BFG All Terrain 285/70/17.

Wanting to use 285/70/17.

What is the proper backspacing needed for a 3" lift? I'm doing research and only confusing myself. Backspacing, offset, ect....... Help from anyone would be great.

101,000(original) on my 88 pick up and 67,000 on my 2010 DC.

A V6 with a tow package will be sufficient. Make sure its a factory tow package, not just an added hitch. You will get all the goodies(IE larger alternator, larger cooler etc) with the factory tow package. Most(if not all) DC are SR5. TRD is just an option package. Good luck, either way...

I tried this fog light mod. I must have crossed something up. Now all the lights on the dash are on, windows don't work and starts but doesn't drive. On the tow truck and off to the dealership we go.

Konaboy, what lift do you have? I like the way it sits. What size tires?

Will it hurt if I get UCA's? I just want to be on the safe side.

WOW GUY! So if I use 5100s, I will get 3" there for I will need UCA's. Don't over think it.
