Figure I would start one of these to document my progress and share tips/get advice from fellow tacoma builders!
Well start of with the truck being completely stock!

First order of business was to turn all the chrome black!

They are just chrome hub caps but they took the plasti dip quite well!

Now I wanted to update the interior and make my sound system better!

Between crown moulding install this weekend I hit the grill with 5 coats of a spray bedliner I've not used before! Also popped the emblem off and blue it got! Need to paint the rim center caps to match next!

Today was a good day! I decided to put 2, 7 inch light bars in my lower bumper!

Took about 3 hours but only took that long because we had to make are own brackets cause the ones it came with were to tall

Also got myself some blistein TRD shocks to help my suspension a little!

No. They only thing they offer is a better ride. And that's very little at that.

Heavier Springs and location on the strut for the spring to sit. You can get up to 3" of lift this way!

No worries. Pkg difference is just decal, shocks and skid plate. Oh and wheels.
