I got a Trd pro last year first time owning a 4x4.
I was wondering what are the biggest tires I can safely put on the Trd pro. I know it’s a little higher than most tacos so I’m wondering if I can go bigger. I don’t wanna lift it or anything like that. The stock tires it comes with suck.

I’ve read guys putting 285/75/16 on but they did a CMC and wheel well mod to make it work and even then when stuffed your going to have some rubbing.
If you can find 275/75/16 or 275/70/16 will work.

I used to run 285/70 with stock suspension , only the mudflaps had to be removed and little trim of plastic fender, the i switch to 33x12.50 with a 3 inch lift kit and at the moment is sitting with a 8 inches of lift and running 37x12.50 tires on 17x9 et-38full.jpg thats with 285/70

What gears are in your diffs?

That’s what I was trying to figure out. All I’ve found is 4.88 for our turd gens.
Yeah that’s all I was able to find as well. I was researching about 6 months ago. I haven’t looked in he past few months so I wasn’t sure if someone had finally came out with some or not.
37x12.5” tires on 5.29’s would work well. 4.88’s would be better than the 3.90’s our trucks have. Unless it’s a manual then it’s 4.30’s
