Drove up to Yosemite, overall very satisfied however if I had to be nick picky, I would say it definitely needs some more power, Going up hills were a struggle.

Yeah no problem pulling hills in my truck. I still wonder why the 4runner kept the 4.0 but the turd gen got the 3.5 [emoji53]

The next 4Runner will have the 3.5 I bet. It is odd though because the Tacoma followed the 4Runner design changes for the second gen.

Thanks guys...was kind of a trip how a Mazda 3 was on my tail the whole way up. My wife was clowning on my truck. I had to keep it in 3rd the whole time, reminded me of my youth when I raced rice rockets, truck was screaming but was going no where lol

That’s the transmission not the engine. The shift points are dumb.

Yeah. The shift points leave a lot to be desired but it’ll get better after the ECU adjusts. Or you’ll get more used to it. Lol.

Differently don’t be afraid to give it hell when it’s acting dump like that. Teach it how it needs to act.
