Hesitates when accelerating hard

I have a 2005 tacoma 4.0 6 speed manual. When accelerating to get on the highway I've notice it has moments of hesitation and is only noticeable when accelerating hard. I've cleaned the MAF, sprayed seafoam in the throttle body and changed the plugs. It is still doing it.....please help

Using the original spark plugs (Ngk or Denso)? Making sure the plug is not crack on the ceramic as well as making sure its gapped at the proper spec.

I say sounds more like carbon filter in air box may be culprit. Either clean or replace... My suggestion REMOVE all together..

Check tranny fluid level ,if low, may hesitate or feel as if bump from behind on stopping and accelerating too!Drain pan and refill with 3 quarts and 2 ounces ATF ws grade ATF Fluid!

Fuel pump can be tested with a pressure gage, system pressure will be ok at iddle and you can see a drop at full throttle, no need to be on the highway.

Google it, plenty of videos on the subject, Chrisifix has a couple.

Good luck.
