Lifted 2wd on 31s?

I have a 1994 toyota pickup 2wd 22re 5speed manual that I plan on lifting 3inches and putting on some 31 inch tires. The front end I will lift with ball joint spacers and a torsion bar crank but I'm not sure what I'm going to do to lift the back end. I have 225 70 r14s on it right now and they rub a little on a full turn. Will this be enough lift to fit the 31s and what do I do about the bigger width of the tires?
 
I got a 2001 Tacoma with 31 inch tires, 265/75/17 with a 3 inch spacer lift. I had to buy 1.25 inch wheel spacers so they don't rub. But yes they will run without wheel spacers only at full turn.
