Hi All,

I am going to the dealership tomorrow to place a factory order for a 2022 Off-Road Tacoma. In your ownership experience, what are the features you would say are MUST HAVEs, which features do you regret getting, which features do you regret not getting?

Well, i didn't have a need for a trd as i don't do any serious off-road work. I did demand a few options on my 2020 sr5 v6
access cab when i got it.
1. It had to be built in texas.
2. factory tonneau cover
3. power sliding rear window.
4. bed lights
5. bed mat
6. floor mats, and floor sill protectors
7. predator bars
Whether an option, or not the truck came with mud flaps which is required by state law here.
I later added seat covers, and did rust protection on the chassis, something really needed for living in the northeast.
I don't regret anything, but i do regret much of the nanny bs toyota has incorporated in this vehicle. Imo, i'd rather do without the electronics if it meant a more reliable less costly truck.
