P0118 Engine Coolant Temp Circuit

No start at first. Crank many times and found that Rat chewed on it. Went to junkyard got a replacement. Truck started and running back but fuel gauge reads to much gas consumption
at 60 miles odometer fuel gauge reads half tank. read a blog that fuel pump assy floater might be damaged. others say MAF, injectors etc.

Checked the wire harnesses all is good.
